These are sharp knives, physically as well as artistically...We have a paring knife like this that I think my folks had from the 1970's, it is dulled in color but awesome for cutting up apples, fruits, veggies, etc. A woman at work several months back had a catalog and I bought one, and wanted some more. The handle is polished aluminum, and the blade is thin and very sharp. It is hard to find a good paring knife at the general local store - most paring knife blades are too short, and also too THICK - so when you want to cut up an apple, say, it jams up and doesn't work very well. We only hand wash them; the RADA site recommends to only hand-wash the aluminum ones. Then it is ready for action instead of having crusty old food on it... These are thin and sharp, and are awesome for cutting up foods. The price is also very reasonable, more so for the 2-pack. Go ahead and buy 2, otherwise when you like the 1 then you'll have to pay another shipping cost. So overall, a very satisfied customer.

Best knife I have ever owned!,
This review is from: Rada Cutlery Regular Paring Knife, Aluminum Handle, Made in USA (Pack of 2 - R101/2)
I Started with Rada Knives as a fundraiser and from the first slice I was hooked. These are light weight and feel good in the hand, the grip is perfect for those with hand issues. Slicing is a breeze as the knife is so sharp it actually does the work for you. You should be careful as it easily slices through bones in meat it will slice a finger too as I have had this happen. Handwash these to maintain the finish on the handle. I store these with the cardboard protector on it ot in a knife block eith the edge up (upside down) as taping sufaces will dull any knife. Price you can't beat it! Quality It's here! Made in USA? Check! This is the only brand I will own!

These knives are super sharp and are nice looking. Definitely a great buy, especially for the price. The packaging says you should hand wash them, but they've fared well in the dishwasher so far.

Love the Rada knives. They deserve 10 stars. These are absolutely the best knives I have ever owned or used. They are heavy duty and very sharp. I also purchased the sharpener and it is a must.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet: the handles feel very rough, almost as if they hadn't been polished enough. Otherwise, great knives.

These are razor-sharp serrated blades. Cutting tomatoes into 1/8" slices was no problem. They do a great job pinch hitting as steak knives. Nothing like it for this price in my experience.
So far no handle discoloration from dish washing as noted by some other reviewers. Have washed mine 2 or 3 times in a dishwasher using Cascade detergent with no obvious damage so far.

Love these paring knives! Not serrated but for paring vegetables and fruits, they fit my hand perfectly and give a nice smooth cut. I do a LOT of peeling and these are my favorites. The blades stay sharp and if they weren't so small, I probably would misplace them less than I do. I have tried many other styles and blade types but I look for these every time! Shipping was fast and well packed.

I like this paring knife because the blade is very sharp, it is made in the USA and the handle is metal which makes it easy to recycle when the time comes. I would have given it a 5-star rating except I feel the metal of the blade is not thick enough. Sometimes it flexes which leads to miscuts or makes the start of a slice hold.

These are great. I can see why once a person buys these they can get rid of a number of other knives. Very nicely made little paring knife.
