5.0 out of 5 stars NOT Made in China, September 4, 2011

This review is from: Radial Engineering JDV MK3 Direct Box
Made in Canada....that's right folks, Not Made in somewhere else.....the engineering is extremely thought out, employs quality components and provides flawless execution....this is one of the most flexible Class A DI-Boxes I've owned and used for 2 years now. It's built like a tank and stands up to road use... I also have an Avalon U5 active and a DTAR Solstice (also active)... All three are very good.....Don't be put off by the price, this is a Rolls-Royce and one of the BEST you can buy. Radial offers many types of Di-boxes. I've used this one with mandolins, fiddles, acoustic guitars and electric guitars and basses. If you play a Taylor (for example) with an expression system you'll need an active DI-Box. Radial DI-Boxes, in general, score 5 Stars not only for function, but for engineering and tough casing. They're built for musicians and audiophiles. I use the Radial JPC for my MAC Book Pro laptop that feeds audio signals to my power amp and and out to my PA speakers....performance is as advertised (another Winner). Two instruments can be input at the same time (nice feature if you're a multi-instrumentalist like me) and you can route your outputs to multiple amplification and mixer/PA sources. If you can afford the BEST then don't deny yourself......if you wanna go cheap, then look elsewhere.....eventually you'll realize that you should have bought a Radial when your cheaply constructed unit fails.....remember, they fail at the wrong time (that's Murphy's Law).
