5.0 out of 5 stars Great Glasses
I shoot Trap and sporting clay venues and I wear Ear Muffs for ear protection. All the other eye protection has the wide plastic part that goes back to the ear. With the ear muffs on, within 30 minutes, they squeeze the frame into my head and is very distracting and sometimes painful.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok.
These glasses are just ok. They seem to fit well and I don't really notice any sort of distortion. The problem is using them in combination with muff style hearing protection. By the end of a shooting session, the part of the frame that is behind your ears seem to really dig in. The frame also seems to keep the padding of the muffs off just enough to make them not as...

These glasses have a thin wire frame and I actually forgot I had them on. They are very good optical quality and they sit off the face enough to prevent fogging. In the south, that is a problem.

Cabela's had the same glasses for $35 plus shipping. So the Amazon price made it possible for me to buy all 3 shades of glasses and pay no shipping.

The first time I wore them I hit 24/25 in trap. I am sold...

I have both the clear and amber lens. Fit is excellent. Very light. No distortions. A bit warm in the summer as they fit quite close to the face. Easy to bend the legs to fit as you like.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent shooting glasses, January 7, 2011

These are the most comfortable shooting glasses I have owned. Unlike other glasses with bulky sides that get crushed between hearing protection and your head; these I do not even feel. they are so good I am ordering another pair.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great shooting glasses, June 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
After using regular sunglasses for over a year on a skeet field I bought these to open up my view of the field because I was noticing that my sunglasses were affecting my peripheral view side-to-side and up-to-down. Using these the very first time I noticed how much more I can see than with just my regular sunglasses. My view of the field has increased dramatically which has really helped my scores. The glasses are lightweight, fit very well - even on a wide face. They are actually very comfortable to wear. The yellow color of the lens enhances orange colors which helps make the clay pigeons stand out. Overall, these are very nice glasses and I would recommend them. Great price.

I did not give the 5th star because 1) they should include a simple cloth, drawstring case, and 2) the lens color is yellow and not amber. The lens color is as pictured so don't expect more amber then you see.

I purchased these range glasses because I needed something that would fit with my snug fitting ear protection. These not only worked great but looked very stylish. I highly recommend.

These are great glasses, solid build, fit is excellent, and they are super light.

They do not come with case other than the packaging one which will scratch them over time i had similar thing happen to me before so you have to buy one or just get a cloth pouch from something else.

I like the wire sides better than the usual bulky plastic ones, they fit great under a hat, muffs or whatever.

I got the amber ones for hunting and clays but I think I am going to get a clear one too for working around the house and for my woodworking hobby.

Amazon price as usual is great, these sell for double at other shops.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great inexpensive glasses, March 16, 2011

These are terrific glasses, especially for the price! I've got amber, blue mirror and clear, and so far I find myself mainly using the amber.
I think that as the weather warms up and I'm shooting on the outside range more, I'll like the blue mirrored however.

The thing I like the most about these glasses is that the frames are VERY thin, so they go under your ear protection without any problems and are quite comfortable there. Great when you use electronic muffs like the Howard Leights.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value for these glasses, February 28, 2011

These are excellent shooting glasses with clear, undistorted optics and are ANSI Z87.1+ certified. The thin wire sides are perfect, if not essential, if you use muff type hearing protection. I have used them with passive as well as active muffs with equal success. You should be aware that they do not fold anywhere near flat and they don't come with a case so if you are partial to hard case protection, as I am, you will need to purchase a very deep (at least two inch)case. I found that this one (AS179 It Smooth Extra Large Sunglass Case) provides a snug fit. For less than twenty-five dollars for the pair you can't beat the value.

A great fit for me since the wire frames are super thin and don't ruin your sound protection with earmuffs like my other glasses do with their thicker frames. I bought the clear lenses for shooting.
