Refreshing, and very helpful, March 7, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Radiant Body, Restful Mind: A Woman's Book of Comfort (Paperback)
When I read the name on the cover, I thought this was yet another book of been-there-tried-that tips. But as I read through the pages, I discovered that it has some very valuable, easy-to-use ideas on how to improve the way I eat, look after my home, relate to people, work and relax. To my mind, this is not a book that can change my life overnight, but it can certainly change the way I live, bit by bit, or should I say, tip by tip! The information contained in the book is golden, and the writer's easy style is a bonus. I recommend it highly.

An Absolute Must-Own, April 16, 2005
This review is from: Radiant Body, Restful Mind: A Woman's Book of Comfort (Paperback)
Read the beautiful introduction, and I challenge you to resist picking up this gem of a book. Lovely, exhilerating ideas on how to harness almost everything around you--friends, kids, flowers, fragrances, oils, herbs, music, sunsets and silences to heal and nurture yourself. The best part about the book is its sheer simplicity, which a woman like me, pressed for time and sapped of energy, wants from a book of 'comfort tips'.
The pages where real women across different professions and age-groups have put down their thoughts and ideas on self-nurture are wonderful. I could relate to each one of these women--from the one who finds therapy in cooking, to the one who gives her skin the occasional treat with cold milk!
You absolutely must own a copy of this book, and gift it to as many friends as you can!
