Basque is so beautiful. Powerful vocals like Lisa Gerard of Dead Can Dance mixed with only a bass guitar. Their music is powerful, simple, beautiful and soothing. All of their albums are great and I wish they were still recording.

If you're looking for quiet beautiful music that is truly unique, that doesn't feel the need to fill all the spaces in between, this is for you.If you like Basque I would strongly recommend this as well http://www.ozemail.com.au/~mkrol/shapings_well.html. They are both awesome. It is worth the effort.

This cd is even more intense than their first cd. The vocals are incredibly emotional -- she has to be one of the most amazing singers I've ever heard -- and the music is rich & hypnotic & weaves back and forth through the vocals. This album will stun you with beauty.
