Knoll's 4th edition is exceedingly good, both comprehensive and very readable.
While the chapters were easy to understand, the homework problems at the end of each chapter did not relate to the material covered in the chapter.
For those interested in the principles of particles detectors, this book is a must have!

Must-have textbook for anyone in the nuclear physics/engineering field. It's very well-written and informative -- atypical to a lot of nuclear-related textbooks.Published 10 months ago by Jacob W. Dolecki
