I find this book useful for young radiotherapists who are in training, but maybe it could be better to have more images of treatment fields

Only book I could find that talked about the all important issue of patient positioning. Still, it is hard to translate knowledge from a book to a working center, but that is alway the case isn't it?

Its a good book. There's not much else out there, so theres not much choice. I've been considering buying this for over a year because the new edition is suppose to come out but keeps getting delayed. Well I'm tired of checking it out and what not, so i just decided to buy the second edition. We'll have to see if the third edition is worth the money. But if you're new to dosimetry definitely buy this book, it will help you get started.

Excellent resource for radiation therapists' who want a better understanding of dosimetry and therapy planning. Very well orgranized, and easy to carry around with you if you're just getting started.
