A very good timekiller. (FreeCell is so much more a challenge than "regular" solitaire)Unit is well built. Big screen is nice to have, as is the automatic backlight. Despite its size and the light feature still only needs 2 aaa to run rather than 4 like one may expect. The buttons are easy to find, and comfortable and natural to use, even in dark situations. WHen playing with the sound on, I must admit the noises this little unit makes are actually pleasant to hear, rather than annoying and grating.

Definitely would recommend this product. Radica has been making quality electroninc entertainment my entire life, and this unit is definitely worth the price of admission.

This is one of the very best games I have ever found. It is mostly for adults who have a little knowledge of Free cell Solitaire from a computer. Once you have that, you're going to be playing this game for years.
It is backlit and the buttons can be found in the dark. I like the noises that show moves, wins or losses, not just background noise. It is challenging.If you practice it, you will get better. I win one out of every three games. You can put it down and come back to same place in your game at a later time. You can scroll and see all 52 cards. You can keep it under your pillow and play it before bedtime. It will cut itself off. It's great to take places, although my phone number is on it ,since I am afraid I will leave it someplace. That's why I also own more than one. Put a spare in your travel bag. I have played it for over 3 years, after learning the basics from the computer game from a friend. I figured out some good play moves on my own. If I don't practice, I can lose my quickness in spotting plays, so it is not a super easy game. It's a smart game, one you can improve your skills on. There is no gambling or guessing. It uses skills and experience with cards.If you can play Free Cell on a computer, you will absolutely LOVE this and end up buying more than one. The batteries also last a very long time.

This game is always a challenge, and I'm sure it helps keep my mind active. I can hardly put it down, and have 2 backups in case it should ever die! Even at nearly 62, I love it!!

I bought a freecell game a few years ago and finally wore it out. I purchased one from this site and the backlight went out in about a month. The seller sent a new one to me very quickly but that too went bad after a little over a month (backlight again). I love to play this game before going to bed and I miss the challenge. The customer service is great, the product...not so good.

I was lost when my old "Big Screen Free Cell" game died. I tried to find it locally, but none of the stores carried it anymore. I was amazed when I found this game on Amazon, as this was the first time I looked there for anything.
Big Screen Free Cell has many good features, two of it's best features are that the card numbers are large enough to read and it is lighted so I can play it in bed, in the dark. I have trouble sleeping at night and putting on a light to read is out of the question. . . so this game is ideal for me. Besides being a fun, challanging game, it also keeps my mind working, by trying to keep a high percentage score.

I have had this type of FreeCell game for a number of years and have been very satisfied with it. When I found it on Amazon.com I was very pleased as our local stores no longer carried this one. I actually ordered 2 but my disappointment is in the lighting of them. I put new batteries in but they are very hard to see, very dim which causes major eye strain. My original one is so much clearer and easier to read. I don't understand what changed as they are the very same otherwise. I will be very hesitant to order from Amazon.com again. Would the company be willing to exchange these?

I love this game. It can keep you busy for hours. If you start to loose you can try again. It is so much fun. The big size makes it easy to see. Great for seniors and people with sight problems. Worth every cent.

I have always loved to play FreeCell on my computer. I purchased this hand held FreeCell game to play while I was recuperating from major surgery in February. Five months later I am still playing with this one and hardly ever play it on my computer anymore. It is very sturdy, the screen is lit, it turns off automatically, and when you turn it back on it returns to the game you were playing. There is sound, but I keep that turned off until the winning move so I can hear the "happy" ding dinging of winning!! This is my first hand held game and it did take me a few days to get used to it (no red or black cards like the computer). I'm 58 and think this game helps keep my mind active and sharp. I've only had to change the batteries once. Super product!!

My wife has been playing this game for years. When her last one wore out, we could not find a replacement at any store. We decided to look on the internet and found it with amazon. It is of better quality than any she has had in the past.

Free Cell is a game that a person wants to continue playing. It takes thinking and strategy. The Big Screen Free Cell is easy to carry in the car or on a trip. Free Cell is great to have while waiting for someone, such as in a medical office or airport.
