Product Description

Editorial Review

Great fun at slumber parties or when just bumming around with pals, this freestanding camera operates like a real photo booth and takes instant pictures of the whole gang. The tabletop unit is fairly big, standing about 9-1/2 inches tall, but, considering its capabilities, is still pretty portable. The photo booth uses Polaroid i-Zone technology and comes with a starter pack of six strips of instant i-Zone pocket film. Film strips feed through the slot on top of the photo booth and must be loaded separately for each picture. The photo booth tilts forward or backward for the best picture angle and has a mirrored screen so girls can vogue in front of it to see what looks best before snapping their shot. Once film is loaded, girls pull down the side handle and have about 6 seconds to get into their pose before the flash goes off. Once the picture is taken, girls can pull the strip out the slot and watch the photo fully develop. My Photo Booth also accepts i-Zone pocket sticker film or pocket fortune film as replacement film. This miniature photo booth uses four "AA" batteries—two for the flash and two for the timer—and is covered by a 90-day limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

4.0 out of 5 stars Just right for 7 year olds., December 5, 2004
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Radica Girl Tech My Photo Booth (Toy)
I really enjoyed watching my daughter take pictures with her friends. EEveryone lined up to play with it. My only problem and concern is, when I went to the store to get more film no one carried it. What good is the toy without the film and I didn't enjoy telling my daughther " I'm sorry but you can't play with it anymore until I find more film, Not even sure if I will ever get it???" I used half of the roll it came with just getting used to using it, I think more than 6 photos should come with the product.

I got this for my then 8 year old daughter for x-mas last year and it was a huge waste of money!! The pics came out lousy and we could not get the replacement film in correctly and it ended up 'reaking!! Dont waste your time or money--purchase a cheap digital for them to use...thats what we did and now she can take it on field trips and to parties!

I really wanted this toy for christmas last year...it was awsome......The first 2 pics that it took!!!!! The film is totally hard to get in...my uncle ( a photagrapher) couldnt even get the film in!!!!! my advice to parents whose kid wants this toy is to tell them that santa stopped making film rolls...because that seems what the manufacturer has done!!!!!!
