4.0 out of 5 stars Just right for 7 year olds.
I really enjoyed watching my daughter take pictures with her friends. EEveryone lined up to play with it. My only problem and concern is, when I went to the store to get more film no one carried it. What good is the toy without the film and I didn't enjoy telling my daughther " I'm sorry but you can't play with it anymore until I find more film, Not even sure if I will...

1.0 out of 5 stars awful
I got this for my then 8 year old daughter for x-mas last year and it was a huge waste of money!! The pics came out lousy and we could not get the replacement film in correctly and it ended up 'reaking!! Dont waste your time or money--purchase a cheap digital for them to use...thats what we did and now she can take it on field trips and to parties!

What good is the toy without the film and I didn't enjoy telling my daughther " I'm sorry but you can't play with it anymore until I find more film, Not even sure if I will ever get it???" I used half of the roll it came with just getting used to using it, I think more than 6 photos should come with the product.

I really wanted this toy for christmas last year...it was awsome......The first 2 pics that it took!!!!! The film is totally hard to get in...my uncle ( a photagrapher) couldnt even get the film in!!!!! my advice to parents whose kid wants this toy is to tell them that santa stopped making film rolls...because that seems what the manufacturer has done!!!!!!

I got this toy for Christmas it was fun until I ran out of film that it gave me in the box. Then I found out that they don't make that film anymore for some type of reason,so now it is just taking up space in the back of my closet. But it was fun it was fun while it lasted.

I wrote to the manufacturer of this toy and asked about film. I was quite mad I could not find it anywhere. BUT! Customer service got right back to me and I just bought 8 packs of 12 exposure film from wolfcamera.com. You can also get it at www.ritzcamera.com, or www.ecamerafilms.com. Hope that helps everyone!

2.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS TOY! FRUSTRATED MINNESOTAN, January 12, 2005

What a super fun idea this photo booth is! My 8 year old had a great time with the first 6 pictures that it came with. Easy to load and operate. However, just like all of the previous reviewers, I too read the instructions which stated that it will take "any i-zone film" and ended up purchasing the i-zone200 film(because that is the only film available in my area)- which obviously does not fit this unit. Upon calling Radica's customer service, and airing my concerns, they have taken the position that their instructions are clear and that it was my fault I purchased the wrong film. I am very frustrated as it seems that the standard i-zone film is being discontinued from all the retailers in my area. My suggestion to everyone is not buy this product, as it was stated once before "what good is this toy if you cannot buy the film for it."

Here is some info that I found that might be helpful to other parents.

My Photo Booth™ is a portable camera that features a mirror for picture framing, a flash and even a countdown "for that exciting moment when everyone makes funny faces."

My Photo Booth™ works with i-Zone Pocket Film, Pocket Sticker Film, and Fortune Film. To buy film online, use the Shop Polaroid link below.

NOTE: izone200 Films cannot be used with this product.

My child loves this item, but it seems impossible to obtain the film. Also, the film is expensive--$20 for 36 "sticker"-sized pictures.

3.0 out of 5 stars MISLEADING FILM INSTRUCTIONS, December 29, 2004
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Radica Girl Tech My Photo Booth (Toy)
This is a great toy...if you only intend to use the mini roll of film it comes with. The instructions for the $50 Photo Booth say it accepts ALL I-Zone film...such is not the case. After spending $30 on two multi-packs of I-Zone 200 film, we were so incredibly frustrated to learn that it did not fit the toy. When we called the "helpful" consumer hotline, the "not-so-helpful" spokesperson said that this toy only accepts REGULAR I-Zone film...not I-Zone 200 or I-Zone 500. (Apparently, this is what they mean by their phrase "accepts all I-Zone film.") The rep said the film could be found in SOME Wal-Marts, but couldn't even give a general location. In short, if you can track down the REGULAR I-Zone film (NOT one with a number attached to it), get a few packages. Yes, it's expensive, but it will save you a lot of frustation. Had I known this toy would be such a problem, I would have absolutely re-considered my purchase. As another reviewer so wisely put it, "What good IS the photo booth with no film to accompany it?"

I am glad I was not the one who wasted money on this product, my daughter received this toy for Christmas and had fun with the few pictures she was able to take with the sample film, she was very disappointed at the size of them though. Finding film to fit it however is a joke and a HUGE waste of time and money, we are still unable to find film and it sits in her room collecting dust.
