Play TV Baseball 3 is an updated version of the earlier version of the virtual reality game, with loads of realistic touches that will have baseball fans jumping off the sidelines and into the game. Simply plug the base into your TV or VCR, pick up the wireless bat, and play ball! Play against a friend or choose from one of 12 teams. Rules are the same as regular baseball, whether you’re at the plate, on the mound, or in the field: swing away for a home run, lay down a bunt to advance base runners, steal a base, strike out the batter with six different pitches (fastball, curve, screwball, slider, splitter, or change up), or field the ball and choose which base runner to throw out—or maybe you’ll turn a double play! My 8 year old baseball fanatic son thinks he has died and gone to baseball heaven! This is the second version of Play TV Baseball that we have owned.....a vast improvement over the past version. Strong graphics and several different options offer a great time in front of the TV, while swinging the bat and really participating in a game! Super baseball game substitute when cold winter snow covered days keep us inside...... More acceptable than allowing my son to play video baseball games where there is no physical activity or interaction.

This is a great toy- I have 2 boys 11, and 9 and they have had one of these for several years, fact is I just ordered another one because they have played it so much it is worn out. They ask for another one for Christmas. It teaches good eye hand coordination. We also have the radica soccer, and they enjoy it also. I greatly recommend this toy!!

My son age 7 loves playing baseball with play TV baseball. Also on arrival the bat was not working, I called the company and within five days received a new working bat. I did not have a receipt, as this was a gift, and I did not have to return the broken bat and did not have to pay shipping.
Overall the Play TV has been great!
