I had the previous version of the plug-n-play game but it did break (the swivel on the control). To avoid that, I went with this version. The controls are easier to use and hold onto for little ones. The games have different names than in the prior one but they are still the same games with the added bonus that this version has games just for the little ones. My husband and I play against each other like posessed people with the standard Tetris. My three-year-old is able to use the same game and controller to play just like Mom & Dad but he is actually able to play since we can change it to a game that is more to his level. The older version is still available and is more of a classic Tetris but this one is more family friendly and I'm not worried about things breaking off of it!

This is a nice but somewhat elementary game. I would suggest it for younger children. What is nice is that it is used on your TV set which makes it much bigger than a hand held or computer game. The graphics are descent but I found that the games were different from the original tetris that would be played using PlayStation, for instance. If you're looking for the orignal tetris music and graphics, you will not find it with this game. Still, I found it ok.

I bought this game for my Dad as a Christmas gift and we had great fun with it for about twenty minutes. It has a lot of play options and gave us a few laughs... that is before the right arrow button got stuck on one of the controllers and brought our fun to an end. My only hope now is that the purchase wasnt a complete waste and that the original company will be willing to work with me to get it fixed with no additional costs.

Fun while it lasted. After using it a couple of times the graphics went crazy and we can't play it any more, a real rip off! I would give it minus stars if possible for durability!!!

The batteries last a long time. The cords are connected to each other, so you'll have to sit right next to whomever you are playing. The backgrounds on the tetris maps are monotonous and slightly interfering, but you should start whizzing through the three fun game modes soon enough. It has one idea the tetris I played never had, but is useful enough to make a regular choice. You can pick the Dig mode to get a screen with lots of holes in it already. The games have a definite end and are a little too short, but if you are planning on quick rounds or playing with children, this is a good little toy.
