I have given this CD a low rating not because of the quality of the music but because of the quantity. I watched this concert on PBS tonight and only half of the music I viewed is on this CD. I feel that if a concert is put on a CD it should be in its entirety. The Halleluja Chorus from Handel's "Messiah" is not included nor are any of the songs done by the Harlem Gospel Choir. Why have these pieces been excluded? Too little for my money. Maybe a revised CD would get a better rating. I love Andre Rieu and I think this CD cheats his fans of hearing this extraordinary concert in the U.S.

Andre Rieu and the JSO always include local traditional music and artists in their concerts. He has done this more than adequately in this CD. He always gives more than money calls for in encores and this may explain why some items had to be left out. One can only fit so much onto a CD!! The variety of music covered is expansive The rendition with the Harlem Gospel Choir of "I will follow him" is the best I have ever heard. This CD is very good value for money and a classic in any collection of Andre's music. Charles Cogill, Auckland NZ

A true showmaan and artist. Andre knows his audience and plays what he is sure will suit them. Of course a true Andre fan will love anything he chooses to plays

EVERYONE CAN ENJOY THE VARIETY OF SELECTIONS AND SURELY ENJOY THE SKILLFUL VIOLIN BY ANDRE!!

Famous classical Masterpieces, Music for the Millions, an Orchestra beautifully dressed up as they go to the Vienna Music Hall, a Conductor who plays his violin and enjoys the audience in a comic and enthousiastic way. Wonderful music played in a wonderful Music Arena like Radio City Music Hall. Enjoy it as good as you joined the concert yourself!

We love Andre Reiu's Radio City Music Hall CD. He is a remarkable musician and this one is especially nice since it has so many "American" songs.
