a pretty good book overall. i need some tuning tips, so i bought this book. it also go into other areas (suspention,wheels,motors,etc). a good read for a beginner.

Great book for beginners.
This book breaks down parts and describes their functions. Worth your time to read if you are new to RC cars or just new to two-stroke engines.

This is the best book for anyone who is even considering going into hobby class remote control cars. I read it over and over and over, and now people can't stopme from spewing out random RC facrs! Did you know that a 4 stroke rc car engine gives out less HP on avrage than a 2 stroke, yet costs more? 2 strokes have a greater bottom end power, but reach a lower top speed! A .12 2 stoke may cost 129, vs a 4 stroke that may cost 300. Sorry, sorry everyone, im sorry, but I couldn't help myself. GET THIS BOOK!

This book really is an excellent source of data for the beginner Nitro RC driver. Gives basic information for getting started and pointers to help you enjoy the hobby. Book is not 100% up to date but still very helpful and adds insight to the hobby

For me, having driven electrical RC cars and planing to bye a nitro for next season, this book provides useful information on many aspects of nitro RC cars. Easy to understand with lots of pictures. The keyword is BASICS.
