5.0 out of 5 stars BEST rocking horse and BOUNCER in one!!!!
My daughter had the "Fisher Price Jumperoo" and loved it. She loves to bounce. But she was coming to the end of the height and weight requirement so we sadly had to put it away.

I knew she would enjoy another toy with motion so I looked at many different rocking horses and I knew instantly she would love this one.

This is an awesome rocking horse...

We bought this for our daughters first birthday. She only stays on it for a minute and then wants off. We're hoping it's something she will grow into. It is cute and looks fun so maybe in another month she will enjoy it more!!

This is an awesome rocking horse! Not only does it rock but it bounces as well!!! The body of the horse is a plastic mold which is covered with a cushioned removable cover which has crinkly ears and a tail with little jingle bells in it.

Putting this together took about 20 minutes altogether. My husband had to help me out with one part and even he had to use a hammer to "snap" a piece together. However this was not so difficult that I would complain about it.

She absolutely LOVES this toy! She bounced within a minute and loved it! The seat is great, you can remove it once your babe is old enough to climb on and off and safely ride without it. She loves the crinkly ears and sitting independant.

I love this toy. I love that it goes up to 40 pounds and or 3 or 4 years old. She will really get a lot of use out of this.

This is a great investment to last through several kids. Its sturdy and well built. And TONS OF FUN!!!

Our baby's physical therapist said he needs to rock and bounce. So when the baby outgrew his door bouncer we bought this. Superb! IT is fun and has been well used. It has stood up well under the use of our oldest child (age 5) sitting on it and using it hard. It is not difficult to put together and the end result is worth the work of putting it together. It still looks brand new.

Very Fun.

Well worth the money.

Enjoy

My 7 1/2 month old recently out grew her swing. She loves to rock and swing and had figured out how to rock her body to make her swing go faster. My mother bought her this pony and she loves to sit in it. She spent 45 minutes in it yelling, laughing and bouncing the day after we bought it for her. She quickly learned how to make it bounce different ways. This is an awesome toy, she has wonderful balance after sitting in it a few times. Once she is older and walking we will take off the seat and I'm sure she will wear this toy out before she outgrows it. It is also safer than most horses, being that it is soft and there are no metal springs. This toy is a must for any active baby.

I looked all over the place for something like this and finally found it in the JCP catalogue. It's a little stiff going, presumably because it's for the little guys, but it is definitely, a great toy. Ours gets tons of use, even by a three-year-old. I love the convertible seat so that it grows with the child. Ours has been marked on, drooled on, eaten on, spilled on, and it still looks new. This thing just wears and wears and is just a great toy. However, if you have a rather rambunctious little one, don't be too far away. It can tip since there's not as much weight in the bottom of it. Great toy otherwise though! Especially if you have a jumper-lover in your house like we do!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun toy for my bouncing little girls!, May 19, 2005

We bought this Rock 'N Bounce Pony for my youngest daughter's first birthday a month and a half ago. We got it because she LOVED to jump in her doorway Jumpster. Since she is such a bouncer, I thought this toy would be great for her current age.

She does enjoy the toy, but only in small doses. She might jump for a minute, then she's ready to get off. That's why I only gave it 4 overall stars instead of 5. I think I'm more excited about the toy than she is, although she does like it.

At first we attached the "support seat" and that worked fine. However, we also have another daughter, age two years and eight months. She REALLY wanted to jump, too, so we let her. (It states that the toy is for ages 9 months through age 3). She kept getting stuck in the support seat, so we removed it altogether. Now my oldest can bounce to her heart's content with no problems. The youngest needs help getting on and off anyway, so it works out fine that we took it off. I sit there beside her during her jumping and rocking, so there is no fear that she will fall off. I wish I could take the support on and off easily to better accomodate each child, but it requires a screwdriver. Obviously, there's no way I'm screwing the seat in then taking it off every time the other child wants to bounce.

I would recommend this toy for children ages 9 months to age 2. If the child is over 2 I'd be cautious about buying because they might be too big. My older daughter has almost outgrown it. (The seat is on the small side.)

The toy is well made and looks like it will last for years. My husband assembled it easily. Radio Flyer brand has been around for a long time, so I trust their good name for a quality product.

Overall, I'm glad we got this toy. Buy it if 1) your child really enjoys bouncing and 2) you plan to have more than one child. That way you'll get your money out of it.

This toy was a gift for our daughter's first birthday. At first she would not stay on for more than a minute, and the safety seat was a little small. Now she is 16 mos and can climb on and off by herself (we took the safety seat off at 14 mos) and she loves it. She rides on it all the time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good toy...., August 2, 2005

I purchased this for my daughter's first birthday hoping she would love it. Well, she likes it a little bit...lol. She is not old enough to use the pony without the seat attached, and the seat's cut out holes are a little to small to comfortably fit her chubby thighs. So we took the seat off and are waiting for her to be able to ride without the seat.

The assmebly on this pony was difficult but I think it would have been easier if I had help doing it, (I attemped to do it all by myself).

My daughter loved her Jumperoo, so I think once she learns to use this pony without the seat, she will love it.

The horse itself, is wonderful. But, my daghter is almost one and I have a hard time getting her in and out of the seat. They need to make the seat a little bit bigger to accomodate all sizes of babies.

My daughter got this from peepaw her first birthday and she hasn't stopped playing with it yet. My 5 year old also gets on it and they travel around the house making horsey noises. The fabric is very durable, which is great because Megan always wants to eat on the horsey. I would recommend this to anyone!
