Santa brought this bike for my almost 2 yr old. She loves it because it has a real horn and turn signals plus it's small enough that her feet can actually fit on the pedals. Just make sure you look at the dimensions, as it is an extremely small bike that you adjust by sliding the seat as your child grows. My daughter is in the 50 percentile for her height and I can't imagine this will last her more than a year but it is a great starter bike for the price (I paid around $35.00 at Christmas time).

Purchasers should know that this bike only adjusts in the length, not the height. The bar between front wheel/handles and seat slides. However, it is NOT sufficient to create enough change for the age ranges listed on the description (1.5 to 3 years). My son is 2 - and he is on the short side (5th % on the growth chart) - and already it was too short for him. This would really only work for a VERY young child - and then I'm not sure that they'd be coordinated enough to pedal. So all in all, it doesn't seem like a very workable toy. We returned it.

The Radio Flyer Grow 'N' Go bike is a good starter bike for young kids. We got the bike for our daughter for Christmas, she was almost 3. It's is still a little difficult for her to pedel as she is still learning. It is a very sturdy bike and is great that it can be adjusted for the child's size. I recommend it as a starter bike for although once the child seems to get a handle on the peddling it doesn't get them from point A to B very quickly. Definitely a bike for riding around a small area and not very far....I seem to carry the bike if we try and actually go around our short block.

We love Radio Flyer products and have found they are very durable for our son and his rough play. However, this one is very dangerous. It is not stable and tips sideways and backwards, even with proper use. The design isn't stable at all. I would not buy it or recommend it to anyone.

totally not sure why people are saying this bike tips, I have a very rough toddler boy and he flys on this bike and it has NEVER tipped. He got it at 1.5yrs old and still uses at 3.5. Its more durrable than others we had at the grandparents home and all lights, sounds, etc have still not needed batteries. This bike has been thrown down, knocked over (tantrums) and used in grass, wood floor, concrete & rocks and it still looks great!

This bike is very easy to change to a larger size. You just have to have the strength to push down the lever (it has to be hard or a kid would do it an fall). Im 5'1 woman and I had no problems once I put my weight into it. Once the lever is down then you just pull out...

Not sure if people got a bad product or what but we have never had any issues. If there are issues you need to contact the maker and they will replace immediately. We had an issue with another Radio Flyer produce (the rocking horse), we called and told them that it fell over when used, and they gave us the entire price credited AND replaced it with something else!

Mine flys through the house on this, around the furniture and even down hills (where he puts his feet up and goes). And as I said, my boy is a total boy and doesnt do anything easy. Now if you are flying and going around turns at the same time on 3 wheels, ALL tricycles will tip at fast speeds while taking a turn EVERY ONE. If you kid goes 15miles an hour then they need a bike.

My sister had this also for her son and they never had any issues (which is why I bought it for ours). I think that if you get a dud, call Radio Flyer and have it fixed. But the bike was better than any others we found and it had the rubber wheels not plastic so they can get up the hill without problems as well.

I wanted my 1st Granddaughter to have a Red Radio Flyer for her first bike, as my Dad had gotten one for my 1st daughter as her 1st bike. I told my daughter that I wanted to be the one to give my only grandchild her 1st bike, and that it had to be a Red Radio Flyer like my Dad had given. I fondly remember how great that one had been, and was used by my other daughter also. It remained in the family & was used often for many years. I wish I had kept it, but it was passed on through the family & I lost track of it. Anyway, THIS bike is far & away so much better than the old one. The lights & sounds are terrific!! They were the LIFE of the party for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday!! All her little cousins had to take a turn & they all loved the turn signals, horn & especially the radio that plays 3 kinds of music!! My grandaughter loves riding her bike alot, and especially loves the radio! My daughter appreciates the educational aspect of all the buttons that can easily be pushed, & she especially loves the safety features, as the bike is often used in the backyard. It rides great, even on uneven ground. I look forward to buying another Radio Flyer when my granddaughter outgrows this one. I am so happy that I was able to start making this a family tradition - and so is my daughter. She has many fond memories of her 1st bike, & was so happy that her daughter could have one too!

First let me say this was a gift from grandparents for my daughter. Just an awful trike for your child. As others have said, easy to tip over. The pedals are tough to use, and don't sufficiently work to make the bike go. The seat is at a weird forward leaning angle, and make it very difficult to get it moving. Leaning over at 6'1" to push her lasts for a few seconds before the trike wants to tip. The lights, horn and music are distracting to a child trying to learn to pedal for the first time as well. Many other Radio Flyer products would be better suited, would not recommend this one.
