The Radio Flyer Pathfinder Wagon®, Red is a great wagon, but if you plan on using it in the bright sun you may be well served to purchase a canopy. The Radio Flyer canopy is certainly worthy of consideration because....

- It matched the wagon
- It is easy to attach to the wagon
- it blocks the sun
- easy to clean

There are a Few Drawbacks

- While it hasn't happened to us yet I could see how the clamps could break
- It takes up lots of room - you can disassemble the canopy, but it will still take space to store
- While the clamps are easy - they do move around - personally I would prefer something a little more secure

Final Verdict - Certainly worth investigating, especially if you don't think that the drawbacks are too serious. So far it is been a nice addition to our Radio Flyer!

This is now back on our wishlist, because we cannot afford to replace it. That's right--replace it. It works well, but be very careful that your children do not attempt to apply pressure of any kind to the frame, and as soon as you are done using it, pack it up and stow it away properly.

The clamps break off easily. We lost two of them in 4 months of use, and had to trash the canopy.

The good: when not broken, it does provide shade and shelter to riders. We got a couple good trips to the zoo out of it, one in sun, and one in light rain (daddy doesn't mind getting wet, and the animals are much more active in the cool, so this was particularly useful).

One of the handles that connects the canopy to the wagon has already broke. I'm not sure how it happened, just went out to use it the other day, and it already split in half. It's impossible to use the canopy now, and I've only had it for 2.5 months. So I got online, and ordered a replacement part for it. They shipped new parts out free of charge! I love companies that stand behind their products.

I was a little unsure when I ordered this, based on some of the reviews I had read, but my family LOVES this wagon cover! We have the Step 2 two-seater wagon and this cover fits great! We get tons of compliments every time we are out! The amount of sun protection varies based on how low/high the sun is sitting, but you are able to adjust the cover a little bit to help. We have had no problems with it breaking like some people mentioned, and we use our wagon daily. I would recommend it!!

I ordered the canopy when it was on sale...thankfully! Because it is nowhere near worth $50+. If you live in an area that's really sunny most of the year, like we do, it will not provide the coverage you need. The sun still finds its way easily into the wagon...the shade didn't seem to provide any coverage. Also, the quality seems somewhat flimsy. The shade pulls tight from each end, so it works well for not drooping. However, the clamps that hold it to the wagon don't seem all that sturdy. Plus, I think a child could easily pull them off. If you want a Radio Flyer that seems to have a higher quality canopy, you may want to consider one of the versions that has one that comes with it that's made to fit in the wagon.

We use this all the time. I'm not sure why others have had problems with it breaking. We have been very rough on ours for over a year now and have had no issues at all. We have had it on our all terrain wagon everywhere we go with it. It's been attached and removed countless times with no trouble at all. We don't even bother to fold it all the way down most times. We usually just remove it from the wagon and then clamp the left side clips to each other and the right side clips to each other so that it is easier to handle in and out of the car.

It's been to the beach, the pumpkin patch, camping, walks around our neighborhood, lots of parks, and many other places in different kinds of weather. We love it!

Unfortunately, we're on our third one since we purchased the first one 18 months ago. The clamps are very fragile and will literally come apart in your hands without even a discernible "snap" after about 6 months. The nylon fabric itself is easily worn through if you accidentally rub the canopy on say, a fence, as you are passing. We have always stored our wagon with the canopy set up in our garden shed or inside under our stairs, so it's not that it's been left outside in the elements apart from when we are using it, nor have the clamps been repeatedly opened and closed.

However, it fits the wagon perfectly , is collapsible (if that matters to you) and provides excellent shelter in all the weather we have encountered during our daily walks to school in England. So we have reluctantly ordered another one. I just wish it was as durable as the wagon it is designed for. :-(

It fits on our Step 2 wagon as I suspected it would. BUT our 2 year old can't keep his hands off the poles. He is pulling at them constantly and inevitably one pops off - that being said the poles (which I read were a little flimsy) have not broken so that is a good thing! I like the size of it - coverage seems good - but won't really know until I am brave enough to try it again. Hope this helps.
