5.0 out of 5 stars The best phone pranks ever, March 28, 2006
This review is from: Radio Jihad (Audio CD)
I found this as a recommended cd at Waterloo in Austin. I bought it and listened to it during a six hour drive. This has to be the funniest thing ever. Too often phone prankers are just mean but this is just a phone pranker being puzzling to the people that are being called. Melba (and gang) are just trying to fit in. The targets are always religious talks shows but since when do any kind of talk show actually represent the class of people that they claim to. If you find this offensive instead of funny then I worry about you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, June 25, 2001

Teresa E. Tutt "Meresa" (Houston, TX United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Radio Jihad (Audio CD)
Brother Russell (and his alter-ego Melba Jackson) take Texas holy roller radio by storm in this debut CD from Salvation Central. Whether it's Melba gettin' in trouble with the Feds, or Pastor Dave McManus talking about the conspiracy of "paramilitary orangutans planning to storm the Vatican", Brother Russell has that rare talent of coming across with unabashed sincerity. He keeps the hosts going and going, often long after they've unknowingly been pranked. Don't miss Radio Jihad. Whether you're Christian, non-Christian, or anywhere in between, it's sure to bless your socks off!!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE GUY IS A GENIUS!, March 31, 2005
This review is from: Radio Jihad (Audio CD)
This is another one of my favorites. If it didn't offend fundy christians, would it still be funny? Of course not, but that's exactly why it IS extremely funny!!!
