Excellent album! D1 is radio style, the tracks are fairly innovative and among the best include the tracks with The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Peter Tosh. The Peter Tosh and Depeche Mode trax are RIDICULOUS! However, D1 has some cheesy filler that JXL could have re-worked or just left off the record.

If you like Junxie XL's fist two albums DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM. All this is is a bunch of euro-pop radio hits. It is 100% crap. I cannot believe that the same group that gave me such great albums as Saturday Teenage Kick and Big Sounds of the Drag, put out this stuff. Excellent album! D1 is radio style, the tracks are fairly innovative and among the best include the tracks with The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Peter Tosh. The Peter Tosh and Depeche Mode trax are RIDICULOUS! However, D1 has some cheesy filler that JXL could have re-worked or just left off the record.

D2 is a gem.. CLASSIC! It is well-produced and well-mixed. Not a single dud on D2. Overall, D1 - 3.5, D2 - 5. This is a worthy purchase and by far the best work I've heard from JXL. Enjoy!

This album has guests that only a few djs could dream of Robert Smith, Peter Tosh, Dave Gahan, Chuck D, Gary Numan and many others. The tracks all revolve around techno style dance music but it would be a shame to just label the cd as techno. It has dub ....peter tosh of course. It has lilting meandering dream music with the sound of long lost childish angst (robert smith) and it has 2discs.

A third disc is available on the web only from the Junkie XL website.
