In preparing for a recent long drive in my car, I began assembling some cd's that I hadn't listened to in a while. This was one of them.It remained untouched until the return trip, and when it finally made it into the cd player, it remained for the rest of the trip and is still there three days later. What a marvelous representation of what must have been a terific show. From the first song, "Wait" (Wait 'til We Get Home - from the first album), to the last, a rendition of Lou Reed's "Sweet Jane", this is a raucous, thoughtful, sweet, and uplifting concert. My only wish is that I had actually been there. Great stuff and perfect for a road trip!! |
