This is currently my favorite CD - I can't stop listening to it. Four superb musicians playing classic tangos in imaginative, yet danceable, arrangements. Not a bad cut on the entire CD. Even if you are not a tangusista, this CD will bring some lilt and a smile into your life.Buy it!

solid tango for dancing or listening to. the sound is deeper and forthright than most tango you know. there is not a piece on here that I don't look forward to playing.

Although I know little about the genre, I don't believe that this really fits within traditional tango, or even alongside bands like Gotham Project; in fact, it is possibly better described as a jazzy, brash, fun version of the tango. I was especially impressed by the incredible singing trombone on "those dark eyes."
