I recently bought this model and when I first tried it was very weird how the tank is controlled with the remote control because I was used to play with the VSTANK tanks. But after a while, it is very cool to play with, the remote control configuration is like driving an old tank with levers (so if you put the both lever up you'll go straight, if you put both levers down you'll backward and if you only put up the right lever you'll turn left just like real tanks in WWII).

The tank is well detailed and I was really surprised how well he was done but because of its weight, I feel that he was made of cheap plastic but overall he pass the test.

Yes, the tank is a little smaller it may be 1:25 instead of 1:24.

Also, be careful of the remote control antenna because it is very fragile because when I putted down the antenna to close it, the tip of it bended and it broke off.

If you are a big fan of the Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B like me you must buy it.

Excellent product! Just as described. Creates a quality experience. Bought 1 King Tiger (for me) and 3 Shermans (for my 3 Great-Nephews). Had one issue with one Sherman (Bad crystal connection on tank). Excellent customer service. Sent tank back and promtly received a new replacement. Only other issue was receiving two of the other Sherman tanks with the same crystal frequency (done during packaging prior to shipping). Customer service sent me a replacement crystal set immediately, which I easily changed myself). Overall a great experience. Remember, we are dealing with electronic devices, which can be damaged during shipment, etc. I anticipated issues with at least one tank. The boys enjoy their time with these. They learn fast (Ages 3,7,8). Yes, while the controller is a bit large for his hands, the 3 year old has mastered it. He won the 2nd round! The others won quickly too. I even practiced for a few weeks! #$%@^& kids today! :)

RC tanks are my hobby. I have over twenty of various scales. This product from FOV is not 1/24 scale. It is smaller. I have purchased ten VS PRO IR tanks for myself and my grandchildren. While the appearance is highly detailed, it looks CHEAP compared to the VS Pro Tanks and it is more expensive. The FOV King Tiger Tanks came pre-broke. Only one track turns and makes a grinding sound (gears). Its not worth trying to fix or even return. I wasted my money. Quality control should have tested this product before it was shipped. And unlike the VS Pro tanks the FOV tank product does not have replacement parts of upgrade parts.
