Perhaps if Spider-Man and the evil Doc Ock would only choose to resolve their differences with a spirited round of pinball instead of a high stakes brawl around New York, the general citizenry would feel a bit more secure. This tabletop pinball set sports some high-tech functions not always found in home units such as electronic scoring, a ball trap, and a bevy of flashing lights and clamorous sounds. Inspired by Spider-Man 2, it also sports figures of Spidey and Doc Ock who twirl around in moments oh high pinball drama. The basic elements of the machine are still pretty basic, the balls never fall anywhere they can't be rolled out of and the plunger system is a standard spring-based one. We liked the excitement and action of the game as well as its relatively small size and portability. --Charlie Williams

A great concept but very disappointing. The toy seemed to spark interest in the box however once it was put on had many flaws. The first being the background music that plays the minute you hit the on switch. Very loud and annoying. There is a button where you can hit the music to be off but that does not keep a childs attention. They should have put music on that was not as loud and annoying. Also the 2 figures do not stay on. If you touch them the slightest bit they fall off. The toy would have been better off without them. The biggest flaw is the trap button in where you score the most points. You have to hold the button down in order for the ball to fall into it. How can you expect a 5 yr old to hold that button down while also manuvering the flippers. It is impossible. I would recommned nixing this toy off your list.
