This product did the trick. I needed it b/c the TV where I live doesn't have hookups for my DVD player. I hooked up the RF Modulator and it worked like a charm.

I've had two RF modulators, a Philips and a Radio Shack on our two 12 inch TVs. The Philips lasted a few months and never was as sharp as the Radio Shack. When the Philips went bad, I bought another Radio Shack from an Amazon partner and it works great. There is no loss of picture quality that can be seen on at least a 12 inch screen. The Radio Shack in our kitchen gets used almost every day for over a year without a problem.
