If your looking to get a pretty average CD look elsewhere cause AM Radio's debute album is way above standard rock band CDs out there. I saw these musicians live in concert and after hearing the first song I knew I had to have the album (not to mention a t-shirt!). The first five songs absolutely solidified my fan-dom of AM Radio and the end of the CD finishes up nicely. My personal favorites on the disc are Hush and Media Life. This band is awsome now, just wait till later- I wouldn't be suprised if the surpassed well-known rock/punk bands (like Good Charlotte and New Found Glory who, for the record, don't even compare in sound and originality to Am Radio) in fame status. Their music is definetly worth your money and time, so without further adeu I invite you to buy their CD for your listening pleasure.....

When I orginally purchased this album, I walked in blind having never heard any of the material. I have to say that it I struck gold. This album is full of catchy hooks and melodies,solid rock riffs, and just generally strong music writing. Moreover, the AM Radio crew explore various genres throughout the album. With all of the sub-par music that saturates the marketplace, it's nice to know that there are bands like this emerging.

I absolutely love AMRadio to death. I saw them five times live before their CD came out and had to live with just an EP! It was unbearable! Finally, July 1st came along and wham! What a kick a$$ album. I was really excited to find that they hadn't lost quality, like some other bands I'd seen do. Their CD can actually hold me over during non-show times as a substitute for live music. Kevin Ridel's lyrics are awesome, as is the music itself. You can't help but sing along! I definitely recommend Radioactive if you're a fan of Weezer, Rooney, Phantom Planet...you know, good music.

I first heard about AM Radio when I went to a Rooney concert. I was really impressed! My favorite song is I just wanna be loved. I would definitely recommend this album!

am radio is one of the greatest bands out there! i went to the eve6 concert expecting to be blown away by eve6... of course i was, but am radio was also there, and WOW they\'re AWESOME. all the songs on the c-d rock. if you\'re looking for a good pop/punk c-d be sure to pick up RADIOACTIVE!!

This band, let me tell you .. I'm listening to them now. AM Radio is a great blend of excellent harmonies, great lyrics, and fun guitars and melodies!! I only wish I had more thumbs so I could give them 10 thumbs up like they deserve. I can't wait to hear more from them!

This is one of the best albums that I own.Not only is it a great cd, but they are also very good live.I strongly recommend this album.

The first time I saw Am Radio live opening for Weezer on their Dusty West tour I was blown away! Ever since then, me and my friend have been following their progress. We recently got to see them again on their own tour here in Denver, they're a great group of guys very down to earth and sweet. They welcome you with open arms! We were lucky enough to get to spend the whole night hanging out with them. But enough about that, let's talk about their official release! This album is awesome and has everything AM Radio is known for, you've got to check it out! Especially if your looking for something new and are a fans of such bands as Weezer, Ben Kweller, Phantom Planet etc. Get it today! You won't regret it! :)

Quite possibly, AM Radio's debut cd "Radioactive" could be the best CD of the summer. Radioactive starts with 'If this is the End of the World,' which is an excellent way to open this cd. The song seems to pull you in, wanting to hear more. Tracks 2 to 12 seem to flow into each other perfectly. Track 13 is "Distant Shining Star", which is an awesome way to finish off Radioactive. The song is more mellow then the others. After I finished this CD, I was left wanting more. AM Radio is a band to watch out for. If the debut was this good, the sophomore album should be a smash hit.

Simply put, this CD is awesome. Kevin Ridel is a great vocalist and the bandmates fit together great. RADIOACTIVE is 13 tracks of great emotional music. This is a definite buy for fans of Weezer.
