4.0 out of 5 stars A nurse's must have book!, June 12, 2003

This review is from: Radiographic Assessment For Nurses, 1e (Paperback)
In nursing school they dont touch on the subject of radiology but as a nurse you will need some skill in reading x-rays...for NGT position, ET position, central line placement, etc. Of course you will need it more in critical areas even if a MD is present. This book does great on giving you the basics to get started. In fact it makes learning it so interesting that you want to learn more! I ended up also buying a radiology book written for med students just to learn more! Keep in mind it is written for nurses so it doesnt go to in depth into the subject..just enough to make you a more effective nurse who wants to know more. Worth every penny!
