Marc Has A Very Lucid Method Of Communication Both In Lecture And In Writing, July 9, 2009
This review is from: Radiology of the Esophagus, 1e (Hardcover)
"
This volume inaugurates a new series in gastrointestinal radiology.
This comes at a time when the value of radiologic study of the gastrointestinal tract is under attack,
primarily from endoscopic quartes.
Therefore,
this volume is particularly important and timely since it reinforces our conviction that a radiologic study is exquisitely sensitive and very often specific in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal disorders.
It is entirely fitting that we start this series with the esophagus,
not only because it is the beginning of the digestive tract but also because there has been dramatic improvement in the possibilities of radiologic diagnosis in this area within the past 10 years.....
Marc Levine is uniquely qualified to be the author of such a text on the esophagus.
For the past six years, as a member of the staff in the Gastrointestinal Radiology section at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, his primary academic interest has been the esophagus.
He has published more than 25 papers dealing with various aspects of esophageal radiology,
including examination techniques,
inflammatory disorders,
and tumors.
Many of these papers have been the seminal description of pathologic entities,
while others have become the definitive work on their subject.
In addition to his creative energy,
MARC HAS A VERY LUCID METHOD OF COMMUNICATION BOTH IN LECTURE AND IN WRITING.....
