this item is good for decorating your Kindle, and perhaps providing some form of protection against scratches. However, since it's pretty much a vinyl sticker, please be careful when applying it to your kindle. If you happen to mess up your alignment, removing it and re-applying it may become a task in itself...not to mention you may stretch it out some from trying to remove it.

I really like this skin. My hands shake quite a bit and I was able to apply it straight and no bubbles by myself. It is a very durable sticker that is easy to move until you get it in just the right spot. Fits great, lines up well. Makes the kindle feel less "slick" when holding it with the skin on. I was a little disappointed in the shipping time (took longer than I thought it should, because once I decided which skin I wanted I could hardly wait to get it and put it on) but well worth the wait.

I love this skin for my KINDLE 2. I felt as if the KINDLE 2 was an oversized IPOD before I got this skin. I now have people asking me about the KINDLE 2 and the skin. It fits perfectly and was easy to apply. THANKS!

We purchased this as a X-mas gift for our son's Kindle. It was by far one of the best gifts. It totally changed the look of his Kindle and personalized it for him as well as provide protection against scratches, etc. It was very simple to apply and I would highly recommend one for any Kindle owner!

looks great and is easy to put on. taking it off is another matter. if you plan on changing skins, be careful. there was a lot of residue that was difficult to remove. (goo gone or something like that might help, but i'm not risking putting that stuff on my kindle) just be careful if u want to change skins often.

This product arrived earlier than I expected. It was easy to install, although I stretched one part that caused a crease when I was trying to put it on my kindle. But it is very nice, puts a bit of pizzaz on an otherwise plain looking face of the kindle. I liked it very much!

This was my first "skin" purchase for any product, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The skin is thick enough to feel protective, but thin enough not to leave annoying ridges on the edges. It was fairly easy to apply, although mine is crooked by a couple of millimeters (only apparent if you look very closely), and it doesn't affect the use of the item, so I left it. The design is nice and dresses up my Kindle (individualizing it so it doesn't get mixed up at work, where several others have Kindles as well). Haven't tried removing or reapplying it, so I don't know how that would affect the skin or the kindle, but it seems like it would be easy enough. All-in-all, a very good purchase. (P.S., I later found a few sellers on eBay with slightly lower prices and a MUCH larger variety of designs, so do a little comparison shopping).

I have to admit I bought this for mostly looks but the Kindle is nothing to looka t being that it is white. I love this decal and think it just makes it look fashionable. It is not disturbing to look at or too colorful so that it would be a bit distracting to look at. I love it and it goes great with my purple Kindle cover. Very stylish and lot sof people stop and ask me about it. LOVE IT
