I love these earphones. The fact that they come in lots of different colors is cool, I personally own two, 1 for jogging and 1 for lounging around. Also, no standard earphones, especially apple earbuds, stay in my ears. But these don't budge, and the sound quality is awesome. The bass is really great which pumps you up more for a workout. Plus, the price point is great considering the quality.

These headphones have better sound than the $200 Shures I replaced! They were much more comfortable for me to wear, since I apparently have very small ear canals (on a big head- go figure!).

Downsides? No cable management system, carrying case, or detachable lead cable (for inserting a microphone with a smartphone or iPhone). And the actual wires seem very flimsy - tangling easily and getting kinked.

Overall, I would give them a strong recommendation if you like low end frequencies and an earbud type of headphone.Radius Atomic Bass - Headphones ( ear-bud ) - maroon

Beware... the "maroon" earbuds are actually pink. Glad I bought them for my girlfriend!

I ordered the Radius Atomic Bass earbuds after my order at another web site for a different product resulted in a pair of knock offs that sounded terrible. I thought the unique design might be harder to imitate with knock offs. I am very pleased with the performance of the Atomic Bass earbuds and find the fit to be unusually comfortable and secure. Before they arrived I was a little concerned that the bass might be overpowering, but I'm glad to say that isn't the case. They put out nice bass, but still let you hear the mid-ranges and highs quite adequately.

I would buy this product and again and I would recommend it to friends who are looking for good quality earbuds at a moderate price.

Bought these to upgrade the earbuds I received with my Slacker - good sound but even after changing to the larger rubber inserts the left bud still falls out of my ear (might just be my weird ear, not the product). Right cord is longer than the left so that you can drape it behind you but wish that feature was adjustable b/c I like to wear the cord in front of me when I work out and the right cord is always flapping around. Like the color but wish the cord was red as well and not ipod white.

I've had a pair of these ear buds in the black color for over a year. My first pair shorted out, and the company's lifetime warranty covered a replacement. I use these for running (on a treadmill and outside), so the wires get a workout right along with me. I imagine working out causes more ear bud failures than any activity people do with them. These are probably as sturdy as an, but the important thing is this Radius stands behind their produce, so if they go out, just e-mail the company, and they will have replacements to you in no time. Oh, yeah, and they sound terrific.

Similar to the complaint of another reviewer, the cables have no 'wire management system' and therefore, one stopped working when it got caught : ( The bass quality was awesome, but you have to position the earbud in your ear a particular way to get the full effect.

they worked great. I had to superglue the wire plugs that connect to the earphones as well as the cover for the jack. bass is good.

I bought these based on some of the photos on how they are used in other Amazon listings (esp the black model). The pics show you can have the bend toward the front or toward the back. I liked the back position because they sort of tuck into the back of the ear and hold them in place. When I received the ear buds, I expected the barrel to rotate to either position. But they don't rotate. You have to swap Left for Right and use the Right ear bud in the left ear. Of course, this reverses the natural stereo of the music channels.

I tried them in the "normal" position with them angled to the front and they fell out over and over no matter which tip I tried. Maybe my ears aren't sticky like most people, I don't know, but they don't stay in even with normal head movement let alone working out or jogging. The slightest tug on the cord and they pop out.

Sound: Honestly I am very disappointed. I expected more bass from a product called Atomic Bass. Even using the Bass Booster setting on my iPod Nano and SRS Wow in iTunes on my Macbook, the highs are too bright and bass too soft against the highs. Hey, I'm 60 and I grew up in the rock era--I like bass. But even with that, these ear buds are missing the rich mids and lows. They sound bright and clear but not rich. Not what I expected or was looking for. Honestly, I like the ones that came with my original iPod Mini much better, especially with the foam covers. Guess I'll have to find some more of those.

got a set of these and right out of the box the couplings for the earbuds were hanging out exposing copper wire in the earbud cavity.. sent them back for a replacement and the replacement set has the L and R labels switched on the earbuds themselves ... if the put the right earbud in your left ear and the left earbud in your Right ear... then they sound ok...
