Bent mine within a month,

I like the looks of this tool. It's comfortable, and the handle lets you get a lot of leverage. It's nice in loose garden soil, but it's not sturdy enough for compacted soil. I bent mine soon after I started using it on the dandelions in my lawn.
UPDATE: I made use of the warranty and got a new one. I've been more careful with it and it's performing well. I'd give it a couple more stars now, but I can't seem to change that part of my review.

Dandilions, thistle, even clover are no match for this amazing tool. Throw away the standard forked tongue weeder you find everywhere and buy this. You can weed all day and not get sore and tired hands. Just insert the blade along the root and rock back the handle. You will usually hear the root "pop" and most of the time, the whole root will easily pull from the ground intact. Makes quick work of a never-ending chore.

Great design, you can work all day and not hurt you hands. Regular garden tools seem so primitive when you get used to these.
I know some people have bent them, but I think this is because it is so easy to get good leverage on them that people do not realize how much force they are putting on them. Use a little common sense, they are well made but they are not crowbars. The blade and the handle are one piece of metal so no problems with handles coming loose or breaking. The only bad thing I can say is they take up more room in a toolbox because of the curved handles. But well worth the space. I have the whole set of hand tools, plus 2 shovels and a pitchfork. All great. Truly, the next step in garden tools.
