The Rado DiaMaster watch has a touch of the classical and a dash of the futuristic culminating in a look that is fashionable without being faddish. The dial is black and has white dashes for indexes. Three sub-dials provide the chronograph functionality and there is a date window at the four o'clock position. The hour and minute hands are white while the second hand is red, lending a small but effective splash of color. There is no need to constantly fear for this watch as the case top is made of a scratchproof hardmetal and the crystal is made of scratchproof sapphire. The stainless steel silver-tone bracelet is secured via a push-button deployment clasp. The watch features a Swiss quartz movement for precise timekeeping and is water resistant to 99 feet.
