3.0 out of 5 stars A little disappointed, August 15, 2008
This review is from: Rag Doll: A Journey of Healing and Integration (Paperback)
I was a little disappointed by this book. I would not recommend it for people with DID. There were graphic descriptions and quite a bit of religion mentioned; both of which can be triggering.

The positives: The book is decently written and unique in that the chapters are written as letters to a friend. It also shows one path of recovery from DID/trauma.

My Psychology teacher presented my class with this book, and I can't tell you how glad I am that she did! Despite being tragic this is a story that we all benifit from hearing it. I just had the chance to meet the author and it was possible a life changing expirence.
