As a long time avid thrifter, I came across The Rag Street Journal while researching my own, soon to be published, Guide to Yard Sale Thrifting This book is fantastic resource for both thrift buyers and those considering starting a resale business. Elizabeth Mason writes in a style reflecting her comprehensive knowledge, as well as her unbridled enthusiasm, for finding great stuff cheap!
The second half of the book, devoted to a comprehensive listing of all the major thrift stores throughout the country is invaluable. If you consider yourself a true thrifter, this book is an invaluable resource. As a thrifter might say, It is more than worth the money!
