This is one of the best world music CD's to make the market in recent years. If you are specifically an enthusiast of Indian music, this is CD is a must for your collection. Stunning rendition of ragas and talas takes you into unknown realms! The Indian saying Nadabrahma, Sound is God is most befitting here! Great recording quality, good liner notes (40 pages on Indian Music) and gorgeous visuals! The music steals all else!!

I am a flamenco guitarist who has had much interest in Indian music for many years. Katik Seshadri is a supreme master of improvisation! This recording is amazing ranging from the supremely sublime to an energy level and fire that is a complete knock out!!

I have been a long time fan of Kartik Seshadri. He is one of the incredible musicians of our time. I was totally bowled over listening to this new recording. Kartikji once again proves his pheonomenal wealth and breadth of knowledge of this age old tradition. The album is dazzling, sublime, serene, enchanting, meditative and exciting! A must for any enthusiast of Indian music.

Kartik Seshadri's Raga Rasa - music making at its best!,
By Alvin Erikson (Portland, Oregon) - See all my reviews

This CD is Indian music at its best! It is highly doubtful that anyone can match Seshadri's technique or musicianship. Western guitarists (and improvisors) could take a few lessons from this recording! The recording quality is brilliant as is Bikram Ghosh's accompaniment.
