Tom Morello is one of my all-time favorite guitarists, this book has it all, the different pedals he uses, the exact fingerings, all the great riffs transcribed, you can't go wrong. Any fan of RATM, or any fan of this incredible album, should buy this book. I highly reccomend it to any guitarist who likes to play really good hard and heavy stuff.

This book by Hal-Leonard publishing is almost 100% accurate, here's how I know.

Recently I have developed an odd hobby, I've become a Morello-phile. I have spared no expense to try to collect every possible clue to helping me understand Morello's playing. I have collected live concert video footage, both commercial and bootleg, as well as bootleg audio recordings. I own the Shinko-Music transcription of this album, it contains many errors. I have also sought to collect every published interview and lesson with Morello. Of particular value is the lesson Morello gave in the June 1996 issue of Guitar World. Morello wrote a few lessons in Guitar World durring 2000, he also gave lessons in issues #81 and #113 of Total Guitar magazine. I own many other Morello interviews and articles.

If you study the video footage, interviews, and lessons you will see that the transcriptions by Hal-Leonard are 100% correct. I can only conclude that the transcribers used many of the sources listed above when transcribing.

This is a great book, the tabs aren't all right, but unless your Tom Morello, you will never be able to tab it right anyway......read the lyrics, they actually mean something.....

The tabs and sheet music are extremely accurate. Tom Morello is an excellent guitarist and I think every guitar player should pick up this book. You can definitely learn something. :]

These tabs are terrific, but I know for a fact that they aren't all accurate. However, they all SOUND accurate, and that's all that matters. I hope Amazon.com will start carrying the tab book to Rage Against the Machine's self titled album as well, which I would love to own.

Tom Morello has specially made guitars and equiptment to play the great sounds that he does. Hal Leonard is trying to make a normal guitar sound like one that's been sooped. I am thankful that I can at least play some Rage.
