Kudos to Lawanda Howard! Although the title is quite misleading, this book was an enjoyable read, full of modern day exciting characters. It showcases the analytical mistakes women make in their failed relationships with men, allowing men to have emotional power over them. These characters could have been any one of us today or "back in the day," which adds to the book's appeal. Bookclubs, do not be afraid to read this book!
