5.0 out of 5 stars Great bow for the price!
I bought the 30# model, and it's a great shooter.

Pros:
The riser comes pre-drilled for a quiver, stabilizer on the front and a plunger.
Since the limbs are removable, the weight of the pull can be adjusted up or down with a new set of limbs.
The $100 price tag for a new bow makes it one of the least expensive bows out there...

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading title
The bow has the title "Ragim Wildcat 62" wood take-down recurve by PSE". It even has a link to the PSE website. This bow is NOT a PSE bow. Ragim is a totally different company. The bow is made in Italy and only has one authorized dealer in the United States. This makes it very hard to get replacement parts.

Does not come with any paperwork at all...

Cons:
Good deal of hand shock. The bow rattles my teeth after releasing, but I'm sure some string silencers will help out a great deal.

Final evaluation:
For the price, probably the best shooting bow out there. You can shoot it all day and not get tired, making it a perfect bow for anyone looking to work on form or wanting to have fun with the kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars Look out robin hood, here I come!!!, December 16, 2008
Nice bow for recreational target practice. It came with a pre set knock point and stick-on plastic arrow rest that works fine. Make sure you buy a stringer if you dont have one already. I bought the 35# draw weight and that seems to suit most young adults and women. If you are a heeman, make sure you go for a 45# or higher, the 35# is a borderline toy-bow. I ended up buying a 45# Bear "grizzly" that is great for target and hunting as well, but this PSE was a good starting bow and I plan on keeping it just to use when I take my wife out to shoot targets. 28" arrows work good with this setup, wood or carbon.

5.0 out of 5 stars PSE Buckeye 62" Bow, October 27, 2007
This review is from: Ragim Wildcat 62" Wood Take-Down Recurve (Misc.)
This bow has proven to be an excellent product and very reasonably priced. It is much more fun to shoot for extended periods of time than my more powerful compound bow. I am very satisfied.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value for a starter bow, August 25, 2008
This review is from: Ragim Wildcat 62" Wood Take-Down Recurve (Misc.)
I purchased this bow as a starter bow for my husband. This is a great bow to work on form and to get started with target archery - it's priced just right. We went with 35# - perhaps a bit on the light side, but not a bad start for a beginner.

The downside, the bow has a slowly progressive twist to the top limb after only 1 season shooting, and it tends to "stack" a bit. To be fair, it's possible a slight over-draw is contributing to the twist. Also, watch the servings on the stock string.

For the money, if you're just getting started in target archery, or just want to try it out, this bow is good value for the money. Hubby is now addicted to archery and ready to upgrade. Mission accomplished!

Does not come with any paperwork at all. Other dealers include complete instructions and proper paperwork. This seller does not.

The seller did not respond to two emails sent through Amazon.com. They only responded when I gave negative feedback.

this bow is very nice looking ans functions very well, but the limbs are not inline and the string falls out of the guide at the tips.

5.0 out of 5 stars For the money it's a pretty decent learner bow, October 27, 2011
This review is from: Ragim Wildcat 62" Wood Take-Down Recurve (Misc.)
I've shot bows that cost 2x as much and this one is comparable. It doesn't have the ability to adjust tiller..you can do that by switching the limbs or twisting the string to adjust brace height. Brace appears to be about 5.5" for mine using 40lb limbs i've obtained. I also have the 36lb limbs as well. I've shot compound bows for a while and I wanted to get into the recurve world. I also wanted a bow I could use to show people how to get into archery. Showing someone on a compound isn't the best idea since it needs to be adjusted for that individual, recurves are more instinctive.

The only negative I've found thus far is the hand shock. I'll put some silencers in the strings to see if that helps, but it's not TOO bad. I like how it has a section to add a stabilizer as well as taps to add a front site if you wish. When I get a bit better I'll chrono it with the 40lb limbs to give people an idea of performance.
