This book is a must-buy for anyone who is a fan of old-school wrestling from the territorial days. Jim Cornette is a fountain of knowledge on wrestling history, and ESPECIALLY on the Memphis territory. This is NOT just a book of pictures (although there are a TON of great pics), but there is a lot of very detailed commentary by Jim Cornette about the inner-workings of the Memphis territory back in the day. I can't do this book justice with mere words. Just buy it and you will be glad you did.

This is a great book especially if you grew up in the Memphis territory. It shows the old programs, Cornette's magazines and everything they would sell up to the early 80s.
Cornette provides his commentary on all of it.
Really fun read.

This book, "Rags, Paper, and Pins..." is a must have for any true wrestling fan. This is especially true if you liked or enjoyed the old Memphis Wrestling from back in the day. The stories behind the pictures, which are awesome, the stories behind the programs, which again are awesome, are worth the price of this fun, easy read. Even if you didn't watch the older professional wrestling or are a younger or newer fan to the sport, again, this book is a must have. Anyone that is anyone in professional wrestling passed through the Memphis Territory on their way to the top. I highly recommend this book to everyone from the casual fan to hardest core of the hardest core of wrestling fans. I personally think everyone that is in the wrestling business also should also own a copy of this tremendously written book. You will or can get at least get an idea just how much of a great mind Jim Cornette has for the professional wrestling business. You will also be getting an education or least a better look at the history around and about pro wrestling. BUY THIS BOOK! Bobby Blaze
