Product Description

Artisan Wayan Sumadana's Balinese culture is a constant source of inspiration for his woodcraft. This Balinese wood mask, carved from acacia wood, depicts the demon king "Rahwana" from the Ramayana epic. Rahwana fell in love with Dewi Shinta and kidnaps her in the hopes of marrying her. Her husband, Rama, rescues her and kills Rahwana. The highly detailed carving on this handmade mask displays Wayan's talent and passion for his art.
