This recording represents the essence of Cuban folklore --the Yoruba rhythms and songs of rumba and guaguanco, performed by some of the best percussionists and with the lovely voice of the excellent young singer Pedro Pablo Martinez. Producer David Oquendo has combined the best of both worlds - sabor cubano with American technology. The result is an exceptional record, and a must have for anyone interested in Cuban music. |
