Disclaimer, I am a huge fan of Steve Raichlen's. I have several of his barbecue books, watch his show on PBS, and have had tremendous success using his recipes.

That being said, there are 25 fabulous burger recipes in this book. But there's a lot more, like sauces and sides.

The book starts out with great advice on choosing meat, how to grill it, etc. He also discusses hamburger safety, e-coli, and fat content in a good burger.

Raichlen also throws in other recipes, since he doesn't like cheese whiz he gives his own delicious recipe for cheese sauce. With the Kobe beef sliders he tosses in a recipe for caramelized shallots, that would be wonderful on many grilled meats.

In addition to red meat burgers, he includes seafood and vegetarian burgers. Although I am not a vegetarian the Thai Tuna Burger with pickled cucumber and chile peanut tartar sauce sounds wonderful.

Also included is a chapter on condiments and sides, with recipes like sweet and spicy mustard, Five Seasons Ketchup, Pickled onions, slaws, and even grilled french fried!

This book is a winner

I "thumbed" through this on my Fire, and noticed quite a few recipes mentioned buttering the buns and putting them on the grill. I made normal burgers but did that and it was awesome, and made it worth the OH SO EXPENSIVE purchase price :) . The other recipes look great, but I haven't tried any of them.
