The quote I said is not by me I saw it on youtube. Anyway raid 2020 well first off I have to say is that the front cover of this game is really cool a futureistc cop standing in front of dead robots in his wake just a big spin to people thinking that this game might be good. Ok now to the plot the charcter you play as is named officer shadow and it is up to him to stop a drug kingpin named Pitbull sounds promising enough. Well the controls are very werid you can move left and right just fine but when he moves up and down he moves at a 45 degree angle. Next is the enemy run down you have drug dealers who aren't that hard to beat and seagulls craping on you. Yes seagull crap can kill you in this god awful game. In my opinion if your a nes collector its just good to have it on display so buy it for the sake of saying "hey I have raid 2020" but if you want to play this game just stay away from this game and save all your money, all five bucks.

Coming into this game with the sole knowledge that it is a color dreams title, I expected a game with horrible story and even worse gameplay. In this regard, I was not disappointed. That said, however, the game did come through with a couple of endearing quirks, such as the ability to ride on your enemies heads, which turned out not to be a glitch, but the only way to pick up powerups, and the spritework is simply hilarious. I'm not sure who made the decision to give seagulls glasses, or the idea that jetpacks would be available once you open certain doors. I had a lot of fun simply questioning the game in its entirety, and can only reccommend it if you actively enjoy bad games, and it is best played with a friend.

I picked this up at a swap meet for 3 bucks, but the emotional cost proved to be much higher. The game says it has multi terrain action, but in reality you only move left, right, or up and down. That wouldn't be so bad, except when you move up or down, you move diagonally instead of in a straight line. Add in mines and other obstacles throughout the levels, and the frustration factor climbs significantly. There are also several glitches in the game, the worst of which is when you have to hit the select button to make the remaining enemies in the level appear. Throw in bad controls and even worse music, and you've got a product that's better suited for collecting rather than playing. If you do want to beat this game, I'd recommend keeping some aspirin handy, because you will need it.
