Railroad Empire is a complete electric train set with a big double-loop layout that stretches to almost 6 feet by 4 feet. The 8-inch Santa Fe locomotive and its caboose and four wagons are operated using a single control knob atop the transformer box. There's a log-dumping station and an automatic level crossing with gates that lower automatically as the train approaches. Trees, telegraph poles, and other accessories are included, as is a surprisingly realistic paper-and-cardboard tunnel. --Richard Farr

this railroad empire is a very good toy an atsf locomotive ane five cars behind it it can go backwards or forwards. it has two switch tracks and a double loop it is a really fun toy.I f you ask me it is the best valued train and best train there is.

This train set is a perfect start for someone who wants to collect. it has most of the things you need signs telephone poles buildings people and cars. it even has a mountain tunnel!

This set is wonderful! The powerful ATSF locomotive pulls five freight cars and a caboose along the big double-loop layout that stretches to almost 6 feet by 4 feet! Also, it comes with all kinds of cool stuff, such as a log dump station, a railroad crossing with gates, a bridge-and-pier set, some trakside shanties, trees, cars, a truck, figures, signs, telephone poles, and a power pack. I think it's a super-cool new train set!
