this railroad empire is a very good toy an atsf locomotive ane five cars behind it it can go backwards or forwards. it has two switch tracks and a double loop it is a really fun toy.I f you ask me it is the best valued train and best train there is.

This train set is a perfect start for someone who wants to collect. it has most of the things you need signs telephone poles buildings people and cars. it even has a mountain tunnel!

This set is wonderful! The powerful ATSF locomotive pulls five freight cars and a caboose along the big double-loop layout that stretches to almost 6 feet by 4 feet! Also, it comes with all kinds of cool stuff, such as a log dump station, a railroad crossing with gates, a bridge-and-pier set, some trakside shanties, trees, cars, a truck, figures, signs, telephone poles, and a power pack. I think it's a super-cool new train set!

Train continuously derailed at switching unit or stopped for no reason as it passed over the cross guard. In my opinion, the bridge trusses cause the track to enter the switching unit too steep and causes the train to derail. The engine alone does fine, but derails when cars are added. Neither is the track connection design as solid and durable as it appears. Can't enjoy something like this with your son if you're constantly having to re-rail the train. Quality of design and components not what I expected.
