This book is great for kids from Ages 1-4. It keeps kidsinterested and helps to promote memorization. I highly recommend thisbook.

In a bookstore full of licensed character Step-Into-Reading books, this original work stands out, and I happily snatched it up at a library discard sale. What I got (for my children... seriously.... Why do you doubt me?) was a charmingly illustrated rhyming romp as the slightly manic Railroad Toad makes train travel look and sound exciting. (There's no worn-out government run Amtrak in THIS universe!)
I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the prequel Toad on the Road and the two sequels Toad Eats Out and Toad Takes Off; sadly, all four are OOP.

Great Read Aloud As Well As Easy Reader,

This rhyming story is especially fun to read, the toad is cute, and you get a nice little look at the train ride experience. I read this a lot to my child.
