One of the advantages of writing is becoming someone else: climbing inside someone elses skin and heart. By imaging part of myself into a cat I can enable Kiska to imagine part of herself into a human. Thats where our magical relationship begins, and that is how we can communicate to author a book.
In Rain City Cats Kiska discovers that her needs have changed as she copes with new beginnings. Armed with curiosity and resolve, she searches for her niche in British Columbia. In this, her Canadian story, she entertains, educates and touches us once again. Kiska articulates the things that we have all felt, but she speaks with feline wisdom and clarity. Her understanding of the human character is amusing, poignant, and endearing as she narrates the struggles and riches of her life. Once again, I am honored to be her spokesperson.

Kiska's Voice,
By Wendy C. Bauer (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rain City Cats (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
Pamela Bauer Mueller understands cats better than anyone I know of. I read the book in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved Kiska's first book, "The Bumpedy Road," which made me cry with pleasure! This second part of the trilogy has a little more cat philosophy, which we can all benefit from. I like the quotes at the end of some of the chapters, too. I wonder what actress could do Kiska's voice for a "books on tape" version? Just a fun thought.

Wonderful Books,

This review is from: Rain City Cats (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
I have just completed reading the Kiska Trilogy. A must for every cat lover, child through to adult. The last book (Rain City Cats) made me cry. I loved the insights into the cat world and even find now that I talk to my 3 cats a little differently - I tell them more things! Thank you Pamela for some wonderful reading, I look forward to completing your other books.
