5.0 out of 5 stars JUST ABOUT!
The mystery moves kind of slow but the characters are really decent.
Sheriff Joe Mountain, a Native American, found his woman of mystery erupting out of a downpour on a dark and stormy night. "Rain" was a natural name to give to his Jane Doe.

As he tried to help find out who his "Rain" was the dead ends and frustrations piled up. And because of...

I liked the story, but I was bothered by the sporadic development of the subplot--solving the mystery of Rain's presence in the desert. But what bothered me most was Joe's non-existent Navajo reservation in Nevada. The Indian reservations in that state are mostly of the Piute and Shoshone people. The Navajo reservation is 400+ miles east in Arizona, with Utah and the...

The Navajo reservation is 400+ miles east in Arizona, with Utah and the Grand Canyon in between. Sorry, but as a traveler of Nevada's beautiful, desolate roads,I got distracted by these geographic inaccuracies.

This review is from: Rain Dance (Silhouette Intimate Moments No. 1061) (Intimate Moments, 1061) (Paperback)

And because of Joe's one excursion into a nasty marriage he refused to acknowledge his attraction to "Rain".

"Rain" was troubled by recurring nightmares and brief flashes of knowledge? She found herself feeling safe and secure when Joe was around and couldn't understand why he seemed to withdraw at times.

Joe's friend, Dr. Cruz Martinez, advised "Rain" to just let her memories happen. "Rain" as so sure that everything would turn out right if only she could find out who she was.

I had a few inklings but did not really figure out the true mystery until I read it. The answers were really intrigueing but seemed to have a few holes in the story but that is probably just the way I read it.
A very enjoyable story with a --M.
