Contemporary/ British English Charlie Babbit needs money. But when his rich father dies, Charlie gets two surprises. One: he has a brother, Raymond, who lives in a special hospital. The book holds up well and is as enjoyable as the movie. I personally found it to be more interesting than it's big screen counterpart and highly recommend it. Also, the reader learns more about Tom Cruises Character Charlie Babbit, who really is the main character.
