Hi. I checked around for different weather stations to teach my elementary aged students about measuring rain, wind speed, temperature, etc. This does it all. It was easy to assemble and fits perfectly on the porch railing at our school. It also comes with a cute book and a weather tracker tool that our students use to do our daily weather reports. It also has a poster that shows different types of clouds. I laminated it, so it would last longer. The weather station is durable, well made and was a perfect addition to our weather unit materials.

Easy to assemble, easy to use. It is made of the ubiquitous "cheap plastic", but fairly typical for price, and sturdy enough to do a couple of weeks of weather watching. My 7 year old son is having a fine time. I thought the poster was hokey, but it had been useful. We hold it up to the sky every day, and darned if I'm not better at naming the clouds than I used to be. Go for it.

My nephew was delighted with this as a gift because of his interest in weather. He liked the actual station and the book inside with neat weather facts.

it is a wonderful kit that comes with some cool facts in the book. if you are not interested in weather it won't be any help.it also comes with a snuggy for cold weather! there is alot of better details then this. my mom said [weather kits for kids are dumb pencil sharpeners are way better for learning cause you can write with something pointy.] can you believe her? for more details call 801-966-61731!!!
