it was different...,

So in the mid 80's there were all this great bands like Soul Side and Verbal Assault. These bands broke up and than there was Rain Like... with the singer from Soul Side and the guitarist of Verbal Assault (and some other great names I can't remember anymore). But don't expect this cd to be along the same lines as the bands from which they came. This beauty is slow, funky, slightly melancholic with lyrics you can expect from punk rock minds. I saw them live in The Netherlands and it blew me away as did Soul Side and Verbal Assault in their days.
Don't buy this if you expect punk rock but get it if you loved S.S. and V.A. |
